Welcome to my practice, where healing begins, and growth flourishes. My name is Jena and I am a dedicated psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and complex trauma. My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to supporting you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
My Specializations
With extensive training and experience, I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating the challenges of eating disorders and trauma. These areas of focus are often deeply intertwined, and I am here to help you untangle the complexities and find a path forward that honors your unique experience.
I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, which means that I help my clients reconnect with their body’s natural cues and develop a healthier, more intuitive relationship with food. This approach is grounded in the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES), which rejects the diet culture and instead focuses on well-being, self-compassion, and respect for all body sizes.
In addition to my work with eating disorders, I am deeply committed to helping those who have experienced complex trauma. Trauma can manifest in many ways, and I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and inner child work, to support my clients in processing and healing from their past experiences.
